What is PEMF Therapy?

PEMF stands for Pulsed Electromagnetic Field

Think of your cells as the batteries that power and move your body. As we age, our cells
naturally deteriorate or cease to function optimally. Environmental factors, such as pollution,
artificial radiation (emitted by cell phones, WiFi, 5G, Smart Meters etc.), as well as physical and
emotional stress cause our cells cumulative damage over time. This damage can manifest in the
body in many harmful ways such as inflammation, fatigue, pain, chronic conditions and disease.

PEMF recharges your cells by restoring their natural voltage levels, encouraging them to
function optimally. When your cells are healthy you become stronger, more energized, and able to live your best life.  The therapy is cumulative - meaning the more you use it, the better you
feel!

Think of PEMF therapy as the body’s cellular “exercise”. Exercising the cells in this way allows
for an exchange of fluids. Toxins are expelled, and fresh minerals, nutrients, and water enter
the cell, stimulating optimal function.

PEMF therapy is commonly used in the orthopedics field for the treatment of non-union
fractures and failed fusions. In the case of bone healing, PEMF uses electrical energy to direct a
series of magnetic pulses through injured tissue where each magnetic pulse induces a tiny
electrical signal that stimulates cellular repair by enhancing up-take of oxygen, transport of ions
across cell membranes and improved circulation.

Many studies have also demonstrated the efficacy of PEMF for healing soft-tissue wounds, and
suppressing inflammatory responses to alleviate pain as well as creating enhanced sleep, and
stress reduction.

The value of PEMF has been shown to cover a wide range of conditions with well-documented
trials carried out by hospitals, researchers, and the medical community at large.

PEMF is non-invasive and has no side effects, unlike many other medications and pain relief
treatments.  Scientifically proven on both humans and animals alike PEMF is gaining popularity and attention for good reason!

National Aeronautics and Space Administration (aka NASA) and PEMF

While astronauts have been sent to space for decades, you likely didn’t know that astronauts
would often feel sick upon their return to earth. NASA researched this issue for years, trying to
understand the cause.  It wasn’t until astronauts kept returning from space voyages sick and
exhausted that NASA began to research the earth’s magnetic fields and their effects.

Many years of research led to the discovery that the lack of exposure to the earth’s magnetic
field was making these astronauts sick and tired (literally). In response, NASA added pulsating
electromagnetic fields to the space capsules-solving the issue!

This research outlined what some of the major challenges were that PEMF could alleviate:

1. Sleep Issues
2. Listless/fatigue/lack of energy
3. Flu-like symptoms
4. Joint and muscle pain
5. Inflammation
6. Circulation issues

As a result, research has continued for those who suffer from chronic illnesses like Lyme
Disease, Diabetes, and much more.
