Step 2: Choose your system. The portable, modular, Omnium1 2.0 is our most popular rental system. It is the system most chosen by home users. Subject to availability the new iMRS Prime is now available at some of our locations. This is truly great news as the iMRS Prime is a professional level PEMF system that can now be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home. For veterinary therapy we will be offering the iMRS Fauna PEMF system in the near future. To determine which system may be the best for you call or email your local PEMF Global Rental representative.

Step 3: Choose how to receive your system. Depending on your area of service we offer pickup, delivery or shipping options. Delivery and shipping may incur additional fees. If you are having problems finding a local representative call us directly to inquire about the possibility of shipping a system to you for your rental period.

Q: WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO SET UP MY PEMF RENTAL SYSTEM?

A: The best place to set up your PEMF rental system is either on the floor, on a massage table, or on a firm mattress.
Q: WHERE DO I FIND INSTRUCTIONS FOR OPERATING MY SYSTEM??

A: These instructions will be digitally sent to you with both written instructions and video links to “how to” videos. Your local rental expert will be available during your rental period to answer any questions.
Q: HOW DO I FIND SPECIALIZED PROTOCOLS FOR MY CONDITION?

A: PEMF is not designed to treat or heal any specific disease. The approach of low-pulsed PEMF is holistic and therefore also not limited to certain conditions. The concept of finding the best protocol for an effective treatment with PEMF is not based on the “diagnosis” and a particular setting but on the important detail, whether “the” certain condition is acute or already chronic. An acute disease is usually reflecting the “worse” state and in acute stages the related symptoms are the worst. In such cases the correct approach with PEMF is to apply a holistic whole-body application with shorter duration but higher intensities as the healing reaction of the body is already present (inflammation) and a desired, fast healing effect is not compromised by so-called Herxheimer effects (= worsening of existing symptoms). In simple terms: Acute condition = shorter duration of whole-body application with higher magnetic field intensities! Chronic conditions, as the word says, are conditions, which are commonly defined by “longer than 6 months”. In these cases, symptoms already declined, but are still omnipresent and constantly affect the quality of life of the person affected. To support the self-healing properties with PEMF and at the same time to avoid strong and unpleasant Herxheimer effects (= healing reactions = initial worsening of symptoms), the correct approach with PEMF is to apply a holistic whole-body application with longer duration but lower intensities. This will gradually control the Herxheimer effect but at the same time still create healing support with a more gentle and tolerable progress. In simple terms: Chronic condition = longer duration of whole-body application with lower magnetic field intensities. With both approaches, please be aware, that consistency is hereby the key while utilizing PEMF. A holistic modality only creates lasting effects when the application will be performed daily.

There are some protocols designed for specific conditions that your local expert will observe before designing a personalized protocol for you. This protocol will take into consideration the condition(s) you may have but will also incorporate factors that are unique to your body, the lifestyle, and age. Q: DO I HAVE TO REMOVE MY JEWERLY, PHONE, BELT, OR OTHER METAL OBJECTS?

A: Light jewelry does not need to be removed but if you wear heavier jewelry made with alloy then remove them during a session. If you wear a smart watch or any kind of bluetooth device, these should be taken off during your PEMF session. If your belt or any other accessory could damage the mat, then remove those as well.
Q: HOW LONG UNTIL I SEE RESULTS?

A: Acute conditions = faster results, chronic conditions = results may take longer and are usually gradual. If used with consistency according to the proposed application protocol, results become present within a time frame of 2-4 weeks, with some acute conditions in even shorter time. Hydrating is especially important while utilizing PEMF applications. Please make sure to always drink a glass of water prior to a PEMF application, this will greatly improve efficiency!
Q: HOW FAR DO I NEED TO BE AWAY FROM MY COMPUTER, PHONE, OR TV?

A: During a full body PEMF application you should keep all electronic at least 3 feet away. This will ensure your body can gain the full benefits of the frequencies being emitted from the mat without interference from the higher frequency devices.
Q: CAN I USE MORE THAN ONE APPLICATOR AT A TIME?

A: Not with the Omnium1 2.0, but the iMRS Prime does have a split mode function that allows for using more than one applicator at a time.
Q: WHICH SIDE OF THE PAD OR SPOT DO I USE?

A: The pad and spot are omnidirectional and can be used on either side.
Q: ARE THERE ANY CONTRAINDICATIONS FOR PEMF THERAPY?

A: PEMF devices of all kinds (high- and low-frequency, high- and low-intensity) are not free of contraindications and interactions. Depending on the applied field intensity, frequency and waveforms, contraindications may vary widely. Based on the risk analysis, which is a mandatory part of any medical certification, the legal contraindications for iMRS prime and Omnium1 are as following:
  • During pregnancy
  • In case of epilepsy
  • With electronic implants such as pacemakers or insulin pumps (exceptions with the consent of a treating physician)
  • Children younger than 2 weeks
Q: CAN I USE PEMF WITH METAL IMPLANTS?

A: Not every PEMF device can be used in case a patient carries a metal implant. High-intensity devices create interactions which may lead to a heating-up of the metal inside the body! iMRS prime and Omnium1 systems can be used without any restrictions as their applied intensity levels are too low to create interactions with the metal.

A: The #1 success factor of PEMF is based on the willingness to use the application on a consistent basis. The second success factor is to follow the individual protocol, provided by your rental expert. The third success factor represents the personal lifestyle. Hydration, diet, exercise and avoiding prevalent vices will contribute greatly to a faster and considerable success. If all three of the above are followed and absolutely no change can be observed, please contact your rental expert and ask for a protocol amendment. Sometimes, certain users suffer from a so-called regulation blockage. By adjusting the application parameters and eventual additional measures, the blockage can be released and the effect kicks in.
Q: WHAT SHOULD I FEEL DURING A PEMF APPLICATION?

A: Pulsed Electro Magnetic Fields within the low-frequency and low-intensity range can usually not be sensed by the user. However, many people may feel a slight tingling in their fingers, arms, toes or legs. Additionally, due to the increase of blood circulation, people feel a pleasant warmth inside their body. The warmth is hereby not generated by the applicator itself but by the body`s reaction on it (= resonance effect). People with an extremely high sympathetic level (stress) tend to fall asleep quickly during a PEMF application due to its balancing, relaxing and calming properties. Be aware to slowly stand up after an application to avoid positional vertigo.

This principle from TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) refers to the theory, that living organs are not equally active during a 24-hour period (biorhythm). Q: HOW FAR AWAY FROM THE APPLICATOR DOES THE SIGNAL STILL CREATE AN EFFECT?

A: PEMF signals are characterized by the property to spread in any direction equally, however, PEMF signals lose intensity very quickly over distance. With the iMRS prime or Omnium1 systems it would depend on the chosen intensity level during an application, but the magnetic field strength will still create a beneficial effect within a radius of up to 1m/3ft, more than enough to penetrate through the entire body mass of a user during an application.
